Far too many images to post here, but well worth a click-through.

About #8 ... is that actually a photo of “Oscar?” ‘Cause if so, then Oscar ain’t a gent; “he’s” a lady! Just sayin’.

It’s a lousy photo, but Oscar is a tabby-and-white, not a calico.

The cat in the photo is what I call a “stealth calico.” It has classic brown tabby markings AND patches of orange (in this case, dilute orange — a sort of light terra cotta). Either Oscar is actually female or he is a girly-mon cat. :)

Glad to see Stubbs the mayor survived his canine assassination attempt. Poor guy.
I’m thinking the library assistant cat isn’t real thrilled with having a bowtie around his nexk
I know it was part of the space exploration thingy, but I wished they’d left the part about cats in pressure chambers and centerfuges out.

Do you know Oscar personally? Not trying to be flippant here; just curious. Because I just g**gled some other images of “Oscar,” which also show the orange patches, and also show a kitty with feminine features. (Smaller nose, etc. Though that could be a male who was neutered very early.)
It has been my experience that people often use “he” and “she” for cats pretty much at random. I have a friend who has a cat who is CLEARLY a neutered male, yet she persists in calling the cat “her.” The people who named Oscar may have been similarly haphazard. (Or okay, maybe he’s a male calico. They do exist.)
I should go to bed. Sleep deprivation is clearly making me obsessive about kitty gender....

I’ve never heard Oscar referred to as anything other than male. If he wasn’t, you’d think someone would’ve noticed by now.

Love em all but personally not a fan of Mr. bigglesworth. (Spynx cats)
Now the white kitty who sat on the James Bond villain”s lap, or the kitty who sat on Marlon Brando’s lap in “The Godfather”, they were kitties wouldn’t want to mess with.

I actually met a sphinx cat recently. Weird feeling skin, but extremely friendly and affectionate.

I’ve never seen one in person. I just feel bad for them with no fur. I’d be knitting sweaters to keep em warm.

So. The story didn't say if the assassin dog was ever behind bars.

"Love em all but personally not a fan of Mr. bigglesworth. (Spynx cats)" I love em, but I have a problem with people cooking up cat breeds which produce unnatural or problematic results...i.e., no fur, flat faces which cause breathing problems, etc.
