A hug turned deadly Tuesday when a man pulled his gun out of his waistband to get it out of the way and it accidentally fired, Phoenix police said.
Police said the 18-year-old man was moving the gun because it was bothering his girlfriend, and she was hit by the bullet when it went off, according to reports in Arizona.
Amanda Mosley, 24, was rushed to a hospital but died of her injuries. Police said the shooting appeared to be accidental, but Maricopa County prosecutors are still looking into the case, according to a Phoenix television station.
BS.
oops
An alternate version of the accidental shooting while cleaning the gun.
Self defense, she had a pair of 45’s pointed at him.
He luv’d her to death...

Memo to Self: Don’t hug a thug!
There is more to the story.
Note that they have not released the alleged shooter’s name, but did release the name of the alleged victim.
It could be he was acting in self defense and law enforcement is protecting his identity.
Moron. Get a holster that covers the trigger guard. I wear a pistol EVERY DAY and have for years, and have NEVER had a negligent discharge.
“it” doesn’t just go off...
Unless he pulled a rifle out of his waistband, the youth was breaking the law.
You have to be 21 years old to own a pistol.
I Keep Missing You (But My Aim Is Getting Better)
To buy you must be 21, but not to possess in many states,,
Indeed. No respectable person carries a pistol, unholstered, in his waistband.
And that's why the Mexican carry so no holster evidence of carry.
Guns just don’t “go off”. Anyone who believes this bilge is a mechanical illiterate. Guns don’t think; the owner is supposed to think. This is an alien concept for liberals to get their understanding to recognize.
This is like the mafia ‘kiss of death’, only the huggable version.
There is no excuse. Anybody who knows how to handle a gun does not have accidents. There is zero tolerance for doing stupid things.
What is the Spanish translation for “Booger Hook” & “Bang Switch”?
Also, why is a 24 yr old female dating an 18yr old male, other than the obvious reason....
