1 Picture of Sir Patrick Stewart Dressed as a Lobster for Halloween

Sir Patrick Stewart just rendered your Halloween outfit obsolete (Picture: Twitter/Sir Patrick Stewart) You’ll be seeing a lot of picture-based costumes lists this Halloween, but if you only have time to view one outfit make it Sir Patrick Stewart dressed in a full-length lobster suit raising his claws in a bathtub.

The former commanding officer of the Starship Enterprise looks thoroughly pleased with himself as he poses for the camera, writing a simple ‘Happy Halloween.’ alongside the image on Twitter.

Sir Patrick has been delighting us all year with his surreal images and videos, previously tweeting a follow-up to his infamous ball pit snap to mark his wedding (a ceremony officiated by Sir Ian McKellan no less) and posting a bizarre slapstick acting tutorial on YouTube.

Vying for Halloween laughs however is President Obama, who earlier today posted an old picture of him celebrating All Hallows’ Eve with Chewbacca.

In between posing as crustaceans, Stewart has recently been filming for the next X-Men sequel Days of Future Past, which unites his elder Professor X with James McAvoy’s younger version and dropped its first trailer earlier this week.

Looks like Captain Prickhard has been hitting the Beer Bong.
He couldn’t hold a small drink with Lobster claws after all.

Commander La Forge to the captains ready room.

There seems to be a problem with the food replicator...

He’s played Claudius, and Leontes, the only acting triumph left was lobster.

Not to mention Captain of the Enterprise. He also play a convincing Sejanus in I, Claudius
