RADCLIFF, Ky. (WDRB)- They’re the world’s best eaters, and on Saturday they feasted on hard-boiled eggs.
WDRB photojournalist Lee Atherton stopped by the Radcliff fall festival, where hundreds gathered to see a new world record.
The previous world record, held by Sonya “The Black Widow” Thomas, was set in 2003 with 65 eggs in 6 minutes and 40 seconds.
In the first-ever World Hard Boiled Egg-Eating Championship, Joey Chestnut devoured the world record with 141 eggs in 8 minutes.
50 ^hardboiled^ eggs!
Slower to digest than the “liquid chicken” variety.
Best movie in the history of mankind.....
Dats my boy!
