Just my thoughts on this!
1. It feeds Mr. Obama's ego.
2. It advertises for the opponent and his political affiliation. (Coke and Pepsi learned many years ago not to mention their competitor in their ads.)
3. Subliminal message is that Mr. Obama cares - I don't see any caring in this act except about votes for person and party.
4. Congress and senate critters passed bill and all members voting for this act should be held accountable for their votes. If they had not voted for it, the President could not have signed it.
As to alternative name, call it ACA to be pronounced to rhyme with caca and we all know what that is. If you want to rename the act, how about CACA (Cursed Affordable Care Act) pronounced as suggested above.
Feel free to pass on to others that support the US Constitution and personal liberty that includes the right of risk taking and failure.
The fact that the democrats don’t want it called Obamacare is all the reason I need to keep reminding people who gave us this disaster.
Don’t let her join FR until this thread is over, becuase:
THATS THE DUMBEST IDEA IVE HEARD IN THE HISTORY OF FREE REPUBLIC!!!!!!
It associates one piece of sh*t with another.
Seems right to me.
My only response: EDSEL. Didn’t do the car or the name much good.
Just keep reminding Americans what the Obamatons want you to forget: E-V-E-R-Y single Democrat voted for this pipedream——and no Republicans supported it.
Sap-happy Oboner touted the law’s aim to provide “free” healthcare -— but that cockasmamie plan was ditched—— Obamatons stealthily deleted “free” from its website (one that works?).
Course, they’re now forced to pack the boondoggle w/ Medicaid enrollees.
ANOTHER REMINDER Who pays for this? You do.
That’s macaca!
I’ve called it IdiotCare since day one.
She’s a smart woman.
I like her “CACA” idea.
However, I noticed that even Obama who used to say that he likes calling it “Obamacare” has stopped using the word as it has become a disaster. I will therefore keep using the word as it is difficult to rebrand something in mid-stream. Everybody already knows this catastrophy by the term “Obamacare”, and I want it to be indelibly associated with him. He has been tireless about having this “reform” be his legacy. I want to help him do that. I hope for the next 500 years that his name in the history books are associated with one of the worst laws ever passed.
And I want every lawmaker who voted for it to be associated with it. I totally disagree with Cruz about delaying it for 1 year. All this does is allows Democrats to go through the 2014 election without accountability for their vote. Oh no! I want each Republican running against them to tie Obamacare to their neck like an anchor and throw them in the electoral waters.
How bout “GotCha—22 !!!!!”

I started calling it Ohgodnocare a few weeks ago. It seems to capture the spirit of the fiasco somewhat better.
I just call it “commiecare”
I agree. We need to keep calling it "Obamacare." We need to make sure that his name is inextricably linked wih this disater. He can't play the part of the bystander and pretend he didn't know anything about the program - hell, even HE has been calling it "Obamacare." The Democrat have been demonizing the Republicans for opposing it, now they have the hopeless task of explaining to the American people why they supported it.
I call it Orinocare.
I like BastardCare
According to the Hitler rant it is so bad it should be called BidenCare
I call it Obamanationcare. My sis refers to it as Obama-noncare.
(but its Obamacare, cradle to grave)
