The author is saying that NEITHER party is dealing with mathematical reality. As a government worker it was ‘safe’ to vote R or L or not at all because the MAJORITY voted D and always will. They will NEVER bite the hand that feeds them. NEVER. Until one of the major parties stands up and tells the truth regarding mathematical fiscal realities(they won’t)the nation is headed for economic collapse. One supports the status-quo by continued contributions to the system and in effect supports the coming mathematical crap storm or one ‘protests’ in a nonviolent way by not contributing.
