IMO, the old 1920s version of the cap is far superior to more recent versions, and the new proposed (so-called) Dan Daly is now less “Dan Daly,” and indeed, more “girly” since it more resembles the one worn by WRs these last many years!

Dan Daley was certainly a man’s man. He uttered one of my favorite quotes of all time. Pinned down at Bellau Woods he is reported to have said “Come on you sons of bitches. Did you think you would live forever”.

Now that takes a set of gonads to say that in the situation they were in.
