He arrived like an arrow from ancient times. He carried the torch of the heart/mind polishing lineage.And he always said:"Hello is NOT goodbye!"

He transplanted the Heki Ryu Biu Shyu Chikurin Ha lineage of kyu no michi in the West as it now wanes in Japan.

My precious teacher has passed from this world.There likely will never be another like him, he very likely was the last of his kind.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your great teacher. As we both know it is as much a time of joy as it is of sorrow. Such men meet their passing without fear and with a lifetime's preparation for their transition from this life to the next holding anticipation for greater things to come. Still, it is always difficult for us who remain here who follow in their footsteps and know we will never hear their praise or guidance again in this life.
