Soldiers attending a pre-deployment briefing at Fort Hood say they were told that evangelical Christians and members of the Tea Party were a threat to the nation and that any soldier donating to those groups would be subjected to punishment under the Uniform Code of Military Justice.
A soldier who attended the Oct. 17th briefing told me the counter-intelligence agent in charge of the meeting spent nearly a half hour discussing how evangelical Christians and groups like the American Family Association were tearing the country apart.
Michael Berry, an attorney with the Liberty Institute, is advising the soldier and has launched an investigation into the incident.

no way this goes national
I’m gonna hold out on believing this for awhile........
“And while a large portion of the briefing dealt with the threat evangelicals and the Tea Party pose to the nation, barely a word was said about Islamic extremism, the soldier said.”...
The enemy within is more dangerous than any Islamic extremist. The radical left is our worst enemy.
Comrades, Atheism is the only state sanctioned belief that is accepted in the USSA. Our dear leader has been an atheist from the day he was born.
I’ve been getting emails and PMs from active military saying they have been told to report soldiers who are “anti government” including “anti-Obama.”
Lists are being made, if these reports are true.
Well, we know that Jihadis in uniform are not a risk.
When this civil war starts...look out
I think the Tea Party, Christians, Jews, heterosexual service members, veterans and other taxpayers consider the White House a threat to liberty.
What Good Can a Handgun Do Against An Army?

Probably not, but their commander in chief sure does.
Our Troops need our prayers and support now more than ever.
The military is actually using commissars, this is happening faster than I would have thought. This is not good. Pray.
Well, it’s possible that this unnamed soldier is lying to get attention, has mental issues or whatever, but considering the track record of this administration, that’s probably not the case.
Do they give up all their 1st amendment rights to be in the military? It seems to me that even government employees who are subject to the Hatch Act are allowed to put money in the collection plate at church.
When people have speculated that if civil unrest gets serious and the US military is in a position to shoot at American civilians and people wonder if they would do it, I think probably some would, some wouldn’t. But maybe this is the handwriting on the wall, and a way of preparing them for what may be expected of them at some point down the road. And I don’t usually throw this kind if rash talk around, I’m hesitant to do it, but this is troubling. And the lame excuse that they just don’t want it to seem like only Muslims are being singled out as a potential threat is ridiculous too.
From Boston Common to the Kent State massacre and Waco, the government (your government) will fire on you. No ifs, ands or buts about it.
Please conduct yourself accordingly.

If you read the article, you will find that at least one other soldier in the briefing contacted a chaplains organization with a corroborating report. This occurred October 17.
Since then, there has been a DOD retraction/repudiation. I saw (I can’t find it now) a defense Dept “explanation” that the briefing officer “misspoke” and was “stating his own opinion, not ‘official DOD doctrine’.”
IOW The story IS true, but seems like maybe a trial balloon.
The War on Terror, DHS, TSA, NSA, NDAA, Patriot Act, etc. was never about Al-CIA-duh, which Uncle Scam arms and funds. It was always meant to go after Christians, Tea Partiers, or any one else that wants to live in a free country and not under a Globalist One World Government.
