Poor baby.
Evey state system does that already on the Stat level, not flat files, in real time, no less
Going to pick her up in a little bit. Her heart is further enlarged than it was in July. They’re going to switch up her meds some and they want me to monitor her heart rate 2x per day during a calm relaxed time and call her with that in a week. My concern is boarding her next w/e bc we are going to Philly for the engagement party. I don’t think Petsmart will be attentive enough to her. I guess the alternatives are the medical boarding at the vet or to see if patty my Dogwalker would feel Comfortable having her at her house if she’s stable. Party’s offered to take Jules for sat and part of Sunday so we will see.
I think I’d prefer the dogwalker’s house. Less stressful.
Ah, yes, you eristic-rat, you want room 12A, Just along the corridor.
I hope all goes well for chan, that sucks. :(
I hope she gets better-I would not board her with petsmart, if possible, the dogwalker sounds like a much safer and less stressful deal...
What T5. Said. They just don’t have the ability to keep a close enough eye on her.
Our Vet doesn’t get that much more than Petsmart, but they close at night.
Dog walker, it seems would be best. I hope she gets better quickly.
I’d prob throw myself off a bridge if something happened to the Yorkie of Caerbannog
I am not doing Petsmart. I still have to ask Patty how she feels about taking on the responsibility of Chan in addition to Jules and her own dogs. The boarding at the vet would be hospital boarding, it is monitored and she would not be left alone overnight etc. I will see how she does this week. the vet wants me to chart her breathing and heart rate per minute for a week and to call her, to see if she is improving in that regard. She was hungry and ate a good dinner of homemade chicken and rice, since she had diarrhea. Both dogs are sleeping now and i cannot wait to sleep myself. None of us had a restful night last night.
Maybe you could Petsmart Jules, and substitute Chan with Patty?
i am appalled at how you have humanized that poor dog. he has absolutely no concept of what species he even is!
it’s weds? where is our truth?
You can’t handle the truth!
Why should he? He is a part of the family. That is his species.
No you didn't.
DON'T GIVE ME THAT, YOU SNOTTY-FACED HEAP OF PARROT DROPPINGS!
SHUT YOUR FESTERING GOB, YOU TIT! YOUR TYPE MAKES ME PUKE! YOU VACUOUS TOFFEE-NOSED MALODOROUS PERVERT!!!
OH! Oh! I'm sorry! This is abuse! No, you want room 12A, next door. stupid git.
Guess what day it is. Guess what DAY it IS!
Speaking of Monty Python sketches, years ago my church choir was doing our Christmas musical and one of the early scenes (before it turned from the seasonal theme to the nativity) was a song called “Shopping” set in a big department store with the bustle of last minute shoppers. My character was a hapless and whiny shopper trying to find the return department wandering around the store asking different folks “is this the return department?” only to be rejected and told to go look somewhere else. The director left it up to me as to what props I would use as the items I was trying to return, but told me I could be as obnoxious as I wanted to. So naturally, I went out and found a small bird cage that I could carry in one hand and a nice Norwegian Blue stuffed parrot to carry in the other. When I delivered my first whiny “Excuse me, is this the return department” while holding up my dead parrot and bird cage, there were pockets of loud laughter from certain parts of the audience who caught the connection.
