The long-running game show Jeopardy featured an entire category on The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints last night. The category was popular as it was the first one chosen in the round. The answers in the category included missionaries, the Tabernacle, Marion Romney, Joseph Smith and Deseret Industries. Every contestant who was asked a question got it right.
And EVERYONE in this thread 'knows' what subject you will NOT address at ALL!

Then you have quite a dilemma on your hands!
Here, in front of your face, is a QUOTE from the great Brigham himself, and you dismiss it without a comment!
Evidently you are on the way OUT of the LDS religious organization, for you do NOT uphold the Prophet!
Come on OUT of her, Norm; for there is NOTHING in Mormonism that you need!
You claim to have Jesus; well drop all the other stuff that is hindering you!
4 Do you sustain the President of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as the Prophet, Seer, and Revelator and as the only person on the earth who possesses and is authorized to exercise all priesthood keys?
Do you sustain members of the First Presidency and the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles as prophets, seers, and revelators?
Do you sustain the other General Authorities and local authorities of the Church?
You didn’t answer the question, Norm. Is the LDS church (ordinances etc) required for exaltation in the CK? If yes, they Smith trumps Christ.
The LDS church bears zero resemblance to the Early Church.
//I know what is believed and taught, and it centers in Christ. He is who I put my faith in.//
Then leave Mormonism because you don’t need it.

I have no desire to leave —I have found a home with Jesus that I had not been able to find elsewhere.
