Huckabee's hypocrisy was transcendental as he called for party unity while trashing Ted Cruz. It was unsettling to listen to his audience applaud him at the conclusion of his rant. One can only imagine that they are nice, Sunday go to meetin', unassuming, folks who would consider themselves conservatives but have no idea how Huckabee was misleading them.

That is what I am talking about. You don’t see Democrats having to fight a three-front war: fellow Dems, the media and Repubs.

They only have to fight Repubs and the conservative media. Ted Cruz, lee, Rand Paul and other conservatives have to fght the LMSM, Dems and fellow Repubs.

I met the meanest people I know at Church. That’s a sad thing to say, but it’s true.

It’s quite surprising the amount of socialism and wealth envy running through Southern Evangelical denominations. Glaring examples are public education (and its support through property taxes), government school sports, support for progressive income taxes, and the government taking care of the poor and aged.

That being said, if a hypocrite is standing between you and The Lord, the hypocrite is closer to Him than you are.

At the conclusion of his rant I expected the Baptist minister to declare he would become Catholic. If it is wrong for Conservatives to come out against RINO weakness, then his protestant divisions from the one church must similarly be incorrect - only on an eternal scale. I thought Huckabee foolish and pale for this performance. Truth must not be so cavalierly dismissed for the sole purpose to put Republicans, any Republican, in office. The price already paid to walk on this path has proven too high.
