Health plans are sending hundreds of thousands of cancellation letters to people who buy their own coverage, frustrating some consumers who want to keep what they have and forcing others to buy more costly policies.
The main reason insurers offer is that the policies fall short of what the Affordable Care Act requires starting Jan. 1. Most are ending policies sold after the law passed in March 2010. At least a few are canceling plans sold to people with pre-existing medical conditions.
By all accounts, the new policies will offer consumers better coverage, in some cases, for comparable cost -- especially after the inclusion of federal subsidies for those who qualify. The law requires policies sold in the individual market to cover 10 essential benefits, such as prescription drugs, mental health treatment and maternity care. In addition, insurers cannot reject people with medical problems or charge them higher prices. The policies must also cap consumers annual expenses at levels lower than many plans sold before the new rules.

Whatever rate you are paying now,or supposedly next year, doesn't keep the feds out of your “health insurance” policy.
All policies are now going to be run through the IRS for scrutiny.
Much like the TEA party groups who had extra special attention from the IRS...now so will YOU be personally looked at, and your compliance enforced, by the IRS.
Already covered by a qualifying insurance company? LOL!
There must be something wrong somewhere with your papers, if you are now, or have ever been, a registered Republican voter.
You were warned years ago, but didn't believe it could happen.
It's happening.
Good catch. Why no info for Massachusetts?
BTW you get Mooch’s healthy diet plan with 0’care, and one size IV starter fits all! I now have messed up veins from 4 nearly 5 blown veins because they used to large haverlocks. Never had that issue before and at 65 have had many IV’s none ever hurt beyond the pinch and very few veins are ever blown. This time around they blew 4, had to get the ultra sound guy to do the 5th and he dug and dug painfully with the to large guage haverlock, on a rolling vein. Finally got it in and it hurt the whole time it was in.
When I reported side effects from the Zoysin http://www.drugs.com/sfx/zosyn-side-effects.html I was IGNORED! the sucker has 9 pages of side effects, not just the nausea, runs or constipation I was told to expect. It effected my vision too which has still to clear up totally. My kidney’s now hurt too along with the bladder infection it caused and over ridding my Nexium.
I’m blowing up the computer screen to see to type and read.
