I’ve often thought a few simple things would push back socialism:
1) High schools should teach high school students how to fill out a 1040EZ.
2) Eliminate automatic withholding - everyone writes a check for state tax, fed tax, fica, medicare, every month.
These two steps would make everybody much more aware of how much they are paying...or not paying.
I think the main premise is absolutely correct, and has been apparent for some time.
They want the tax refunds, AND the Earned Income Tax Credit funds. It was a huge pot of money just sitting there ripe for the plucking, and they have now plucked it.
Amnesty is not about taxing the illegals.
They never produce anything remotely resembling what they consume, and as soon as they are legalized they will all be in the Subsidy column.
Legalizing them is about many things in the minds of the Hate America Left, but two things predominate:
1 - Their race
2 - Their Victim Status
If the illegals were all Irish toughs the only guy who would care would be Peter King. The fact that Mexicans are a brown skinned half breed group makes them Fellow Victims of the Evil White People to filth like Obama and his hissing friends.
But what would race be without evidence of VictimHood? According to the Left, we Stole Their Land!
The fact that they weren’t actually here...and never were...means nothing. It’s the insistence that it’s true.
In fact, Obamacare merged with Amnesty means = Reparations! for the dusty Brownskins. So it Must Be!
They have no plans to tax them. On the contrary, they are the new Taker class, here to bleed the Makers dry.

If you haven’t learned to estimate your taxes, such that you OWE a bit each year, you need to learn!
Low wage workers don’t really pay income tax. With the earned income credit, child credit, etc., they actually get more free money.
The politicians are only counting more payroll taxes coming in when they talk about immigrants paying taxes and helping our economy. But if you add it all up, it will only hurt our economy, because they will have to tax the more productive citizens even more to subsidize all the immigrants with the tax credits and benefits.
And while it may have a few more come out and work openly, it will open the door for even more low skilled workers to come in and be willing to work underground for less wages.
Well, John Roberts did call Obamacare a tax.
Taxing via the imposition of “premiums” is a benefit of O care as far
as Washington is concerned. But it’s not the primary purpose of
O care.
The primary purpose of the program is the destruction of the entire
private sector healthcare system.....THE ENTIRE SYSTEM.
Once the private healthcare system is dead and the hundreds of
billions of dollars that have historically gone to the private sector
has been diverted into the governments grasp the true purpose of
O care will become apparent. And that purpose is twofold.
Complete control over people and the theft and looting of the
nearly trillion dollars a year that has been out of the reach of the greedy politicians till now.
What refund? Wifey and I never have any refunds, only pay.
The Heath Care Act is really about the sabbotage and financial destruction of the entire private Health Care industry. When the whole system implodes and goes bankrupt, with what money do the feds think they are going to be able to find in order to recapitalize and run the health care industry? Right, they can’t. So one step further, the Heath Care Act is THE death nail in our economy’s coffin. This is the call on the debt that wont be able to be reconciled and thus the ‘total transformation’ of the US will have taken place.
Well, partly true. As it is currently written, the IRS has NOT been empowered to come after you. Yes, they CAN withhold a penalty from a refund, and perhaps collective penalties over several years from one refund. But, if you NEVER get a refund, EVER, they cannot come after you when you don't pay the penalty. Pay your taxes, but not the penalty portion. When you get nasty letters from the IRS, you know where to file them . . . and you have options: the file under your kitchen sink, or the file next to your toilet, or even the toilet itself (but shred the paper, first . . . clogs won't do).
A key question - how many people will elect to pay the penalty rather than get insured and how much tax revenue does that represent. Many people focus on fact the tax is less than insurance but ignore where the money is going - into the belly of the beast.
If we are to have a crap system like this then the tax penalties should go to the insurance companies not the US govt. The whole thing is just a money grab.
