I shake my head at the comments on this thread... Does any Freeper think he’d have done a better job that John Boehner with the challenges he’s faced? What could/should he have done? Speaker of the House with a bare majority and a hopeless Dem-controlled Senate and a completely dysfunctional President/Executive Branch — that’s the worst job in all of DC. I know he isn’t a tea party loyalist, but I think he and Cantor and McCarthy did about as good as they could have with the hand they were dealt.

Republicans do themselves a big disservice when they start attacking those who have tried to lead under these kind of conditions.

Well my long-time fellow FRiend ... shaking the head sometimes helps clear out the cobwebs. The House Boner and Old McConnell have once again failed -- and failed miserably -- to do their jobs as the opposition party leaders.

“I shake my head at the comments on this thread...”

Failure is failure.

Libs reward it.

We don’t.

Bonehead is an inept drunkard crybaby and couldn’t lead a fly to Obamstuff.

Kick his sorry Obamahole so hard he’ll land in North Korea.

The difference is when Reid says he is not budging, you know he isn’t going to. When Boehnor says he isn’t moving....everyone knows the cave is imminent. He has undermined himself over and over again and has no credibility with anyone.

I would agree that given Boehnor’s well known history of capitulation, it would be hard to know what to do to regain any credibility.

Everyone who voted to make re-elect him Speaker is to blame. This is nothing new. They all knew that he had zero leadership ability and zero credibility yet chose him as their leader.

Is that you Karl Rove? Are you that utterly naive? Your pathetic statement deserves nothing but laughter?

Okay maybe I'm all wrong about Boehner and Cantor.
And the past couple of years have been difficult for everyone (including me) so I may have forgotten some things.

I'm not being sarcastic here-please tell me some of the good things that Boehner and Cantor have accomplished as leaders.
