Video.
I was expecting to see Boehner or McConnell sitting in a paint tray and then sitting on the canvas.
I envisioned something more along the lines of an elephant looking in a mirror and painting a jackass on the canvas.
Ping.
LOL
I’m speechless! My dog shi&&s in the same exact spot every day!
Clearly self-conscious about his weight.....
More than that!
The artist is a young male with a idolization of his younger female friend.
Female? The male genitalia is not there!
Looks convincing, but must be faked. Animals cannot do this. The camera view is very carefully cropped in most of the time. I would guess a fake trunk hides a human arm and hand or some other contrivance. The first shot of placing the brush in the trunk and drawing a simple line may be real, but from there it must be faked.
A line drawing describing the contour of a shape is an abstract concept. No animal is capable of this.
Certainly animals can see. Elephant brains are how much bigger than human brains?
You are just being truculent.
I think the elephant has been trained to copy silhouettes, which in itself is amazing. You can’t see it in the first few minutes when he is painting the elephant silhouette, but there is a glimpse of a guy running around with an easel over his head and a picture of the flowers on it.
LOL!!!
Okay...turns out I was kinda wrong and kinda right. After some research it turns out that these elephants are trained for each brush stroke and maybe coached with hand signals and shouts as they draw. So, yes, they are actually making memorized lines on paper, but no, they are not “artists”.
But kudos to the trainers!
Boehner looks in mirror and sees a great big worthless nothing.
Thanks for posting. I was amazed.
I didn’t know that Rosie O’Donnell could paint.
I’ve seen a website for this organization which sells the paintings. I would be surprised if they were coached for each line because of the variety - including a painting of a male elephant mounting a female. I tried to find the webpage with those paintings and I don’t think I found the right one but here’s a sample:
