While she might not look it, Maria Kang has three children between the ages of 1 and 4.
Though proud of her physique, this self-proclaimed no-excuse mom is being accused of fat-shaming after she posted a photo on Facebook showing her toned body with her three boys and asking, Whats your excuse?

The photo was posted last year with Kang asking people to share her message, but some didnt take too kindly to it.
It rubbed some the wrong way, so much so that Kang issued an apology of sorts in late September, which has been shared more than 14,500 times. She admitted to Yahoo! Shine its actually more of a non-apology.
Some saying Im a bully, Im fat-shaming and I need to apologize for the hurt Ive caused women, Kang wrote in a post.

One other thing.....She looks Asian.....White women don’t like it when they see a white guy with an Asian woman.
LOL!
“They all blamed their fat on a variety of things that, when drilled down, came down to being lazy.”
My favorite excuse is when people say “oh, they just have ‘big bones’”. I reply: “Funny, I’ve never seen a fat skeleton”.
I think this woman is more savvy than anything. She knew this would strike a nerve and create a buzz and used it.
The lady in the top pic should be proud. Those who take it personally are just validating her message. Americans in Obama’s America love excuses, love crutches, love being told “its not their fault”. Its McDonalds, its TV, its always someone or something else.
That said you don’t have to be a glutton to get fat but you do have to commit considerable amount of effort especially if you are not blessed with a fast metabolism. The only problem I have with health Nazis like Michelle Obama is they often project an image of being healthy as being an emaciated weak looking marathon runner or women that look like skeletor with no subcutaneous fat. Not that there is anything wrong with those images in themselves and I’m sure some of those people feel self-conscious. I just think the definitions of what is healthy is skewed a bit towards the unreal or rather certain categories of body type.
The challenge of our age is abundance and ease. Our jobs are increasingly the type that require little caloric output and yet most of our foods supply even in moderate amounts far more calories than we need. My grandfather who ran a dairy farm needed the thousands of calories supplied by the grease, bacon, biscuits, and gravy and didn’t gain a pound because everything he did burnt calories. The ability to accumulate and store fat was a key to survival in our pre modern world. Those that didn’t were less likely to survive famine, survive injury, etc. Today that survival advantage isn’t as necessary when we are living a life that our ancestors would consider a life of luxury.
Even in saying that most of us don’t have an excuse but of course for some it just isn’t a priority. There are no guarantees and living a life of total denial for the sake of a few more hours on earth is missing the point of living.
If you are unhappy with your weight or have a medical need then do something about it but don’t blame McDonalds but also don’t tie your weight to your ultimate self worth. We have a class of people today that spend their life chasing youth but then they don’t have children to share that life with, they remain single and don’t build families, they don’t have time between the gym the office and doing all the stuff that the modern world says we should be doing and valuing. Don’t let fear of being fat hold you back from being human and being a part of humanity.
“Facebook ... all the worlds attention whores in one big writhing morass.”
Not only was this hilarious, it cuts through, clarifies, and captures the essence of a business model based entirely on a single human failing - vanity.
1. Looking great and bragging
2. Overcrowding world with 3 children in 3 years
3. Not having an abortion
4. Birthing boys exclusively
You forgot...
5. Not being on public assistance
6. Being married to the father
Careful. The photo doesn’t show if she has kang-les or not.
51 posts and not one that says she needs a cheeseburger? FR is slipping...
Several of the writhing-morass persons are my teenagers!
You feed it, maybe it will follow you home...
You’re entitled to your vile twisted opinion, unfortunately.
I’m entitled to mine too. I like pretty women, not iron hard nut cases.
I just call it plain evil but I like your definition better.
Mine has Quality Adjectives!
“fat-shaming”???
Thou art truly sh1tting me.
Hey Lady! Don’t apologize one bit!
