With the crowd noise having to be filtered during the broadcast (or else that's all we'd hear), this a great video that shows just how loud it actually is on the field at Beaver Stadium.
The PSU student section is 22,000 students all together in one end zone. The largest, and most concentrated student section in the country.
Congrats to Michigan. Great game, and someone had to lose. Brady Hoke seems like a class act.

I can’t watch Penn State live because of my blood pressure, so I taped it. The default Time Warner Cable record time is 3 hours, so I added another 30 minutes or record time. Even that was not enough. I peeked at the ESPN web site, every once in awhile to check the score. At half time it was 21-10 PSU. I felt confident they would win. Then I checked a little later and it was 34-24 Mich, I thought that was it.
So at around 8:30 PM, I am outside drinking a beer and smoking a cigar. I turn on the TV to ESPN and to my astonishment, the game is still going on and tied at 37-37. I watched until the 3rd overtime where Robinson fumbled on the reverse. I thought the game was over and watched a movie. This morning I wake up and find that Penn State won! What a great football game!
The best game I saw at Beaver Stadium, when I was a senior at Penn State was the Penn State Nebraska game where the Lions won 27-24 and late won the National Championship.
