Does anyone know how things are going with the veterans and others that were supposed to visit the memorials that are supposed to be closed today? Thanks in advance,

I think Sunday was the target date.
Supposed to be Sunday, but so far, the truckers are getting no news coverage at all & they say it’s raining very bad in DC but all webcams show clear roads & no trucks at all. They are in DC now, supposedly 48 Bobtails brought convoy to head into downtown. T2SDA!

WASHINGTON, October 7, 2013 — A march is coming to Washington this weekend that might make the lawmakers on both sides of the aisle take notice and rethink all of the political grandstanding in order to gain campaign contributions for themselves and their party, yet are hurting real Americans.
On Sunday October 13, 2013 the Million Vet March is going to take place t 9:00 a.m. at the World War II Memorial.
Justify it however you want but those of us with actual knowledge of trucking warned that it wouldn’t be the massive protest being promoted.
Most truckers are driving someone else’s truck and aren’t interested in going to prison for theft and its a rare owner operator who blow money driving a truck around in protest.
Oh the truckers are there, they are posting photos & short homemade videos, but no news coverage at all.
