Google announced Friday that it would begin placing users' activity and photos into advertisements and recommendations seen by the account-holders' Google+ contacts, similar to Facebook's "Sponsored Stories," which led to a class-action lawsuit that cost the Menlo Park company $20 million and forced it to offer members an option to opt out of such uses.
"For example, your friends might see that you rated an album 4 stars on the band's Google Play page. And the +1 you gave your favorite local bakery could be included in an ad that the bakery runs through Google," the Mountain View search giant

I’ve never used these products; now I never will.
Because a bajillion dollars revenue just isn’t enough and they have to commodify your own created content.
you’d have to be a fool to use any of those products. Eventually, the “sheeple” will have electronic devices embedded in their brains to allow those products to work better .... they will have total control then gifted to them by an ignorant client base.
Unless they can sell your private information, these companies are money losers. Exactly like CommieCare.
As they say, “YOU are the product.”
ALL social media, particularly Facebook and Google+, is evil. Stay away. No good will come from this.
