I shall not cede my birthright nor my daughter’s birthright to federal goons who are illegally shutting down national parks in violation of national law and the national trust. I will do what I’ve done each weekend; I’ll go occupy a national park. So far, the rangers have picked on the joggers rather than those with signs protesting the illegal closure.
Asking for a major park back from the Feds ... won’t go anywhere, but shows the frustration. SNP (Skyline Drive) can be gated and I’m sure it is.
The DC properties should still stay with the Feds.
The reason the parks were locked up over 100 years ago was states were not maintaining them properly. Now they are s over the head to protect the rocks that they painted in the parking lot.
We’re headed into winter and all of this talk about parks is making me want to go camping.
I wonder if I’ll be able to deer hunt in one of our national forests here in MN...?

The way to handle this is to get a mass civil-disobedience invasion of the National Park and force Obama’s minions to either stand aside or cause a confrontation which is filmed and will sink his ship.
Good idea, and I’m sure the State Parks are already booked pretty heavily because that’s the first place people go when turned away at the National Parks. Back in my camping days, I always made reservations to get a good spot when I went to Coconino or Apache-Sitgreaves.

This is the American spring. Like in Egypt, the government fell when the army no longer obeyed. We need to work towards getting the park rangers to disobey washington and open up the parks.
A better suggestion would be for the state to annex/take over all federal lands.

Custer State Park in the South Dakota Black Hills, great scenery, wildlife AND you can see Mt Rushmore from some of the park’s highways (unless Obama has the faces covered with tarps).
I told Mrs Biased I am going to Big Bend this weekend and they will just have to shoot me.

I would not sign up for the duty of going camp to camp telling hunters they can’t use the park. Just doesn’t sound like that much fun, or safe either.

As long as we are throwing folks who reside within State Parks out of their homes because its federal property & unfunded why not throw the douche-bag & his family that reside in the White House out also? What a stain on Americas history he will leave. A pitiful reminder of the state of our civilization he & his cadre of commies have brought to the U.S.A. AND some folks are following him like the rats in the pied piper of Hamlin....go figure.
Many state parks here are already closed for the winter season and the ones that aren’t require a “Discover Pass” — which carries about the same fine if you don’t have one. But for those with open and free state parks, go for it!
