Money is EVERYTHING to politicians and the DC establishment...Because almost all of them are lawyers the’ve learned how to steal with a pen instead of a gun. Get regular guys into politics and minimize the lawyers (who are usually born with silver spoons in their mouths and have no cluewhat it feels like to be poor) and you will get rid of a large percentage of the corruption.

Money from the CoC doesn't have nearly the power that it used to, because as we saw with both the CoC and Koch Bros. sponsorship of Amnesty, even a hundred million dollars in advertising is a complete was of money if you're targeting principled opponents.
The Tea Party delivers money and votes. The CoC delivers only money. That's not enough any more.
