This guy MUST be traded in the off season! Enough is enough...
Yeah, the concept of November baseball is ridiculous.
I can't give anyone parking tips for TD Garden, but for Red Sox games, the Prudential Center parking garage offers $16 gameday / night parking. The only 'catch' is you have to give up one of your game tickets to the garage attendant on the way out to receive the discount.
The discount doesn't apply on certain days, ie a game on the 4th of July. Probably not on Patriot's Day, etc.
That garage is well located for us, coming off the Mass Pike. It's probably just shy of a one-mile walk to Fenway from the Prudential garage.
Oh that's right... I had heard that. Injury-prone, like his dad, I guess. ;-)
He and Ben Verlander have both signed on to play double and triple A ball in the Tigers organization after college.
Interesting. I wonder if Ben Verlander will still be a member of the Connecticut Tigers in 2014. The CT Tigers are a short-season A farm team of the Detroit Tigers. I think they are short season because several of the players are in college...?
Oh boy. This sounds like a disaster in the making. Dubront, Thornton... plus Morales???
Now I'm worried...
The Tigers have several farm teams. I know they have one in the Grand Rapids and if you can make it to play for the Toledo Mud Hens you’ve pretty much made the big time. They’ve got 8 affiliate minor league teams.

Go Sox! (I think it’s going to be a slaughter after that last series).
"Red Sox manager John Farrell curiously did not name Buchholz as his Game 3 starter, saying Tuesday only that he anticipated both Buchholz and Jake Peavy would make starts in St. Louis over the weekend.
"We're still working on which day each guy will go," Farrell told Boston radio station WEEI on Wednesday. "And I know there's been a lot of buzz on Clay's physical condition -- you know, where is he at, what's taken place the last couple of starts. He's ready to go. He will start. "
I’m sick of Buchholtz and his bullsh*t; BOS should trade him ASAP. I’d drive him to Logan Airport and even pay the tolls without complaining.
You don’t see sh*t like this on the NYY.
p.s. I heard Mauro is trying to get signatures for a recount in the MA-5 RAT primary.
I am too... he needs to man up, or get out of the way.
During one of the games we attended at Fenway this season - while Clay Buchholz was on the DL - he was out in center field during batting practice. He was running after balls, and even did a tumble on the ground, trying to catch a ball.
The guy is on the DL, making millions of dollars, and there he is: rolling around on the ground, having a grand time during during BP.
Did I mention he was on the DL, and remained on the DL for a month or two afterward?
Really ticked me off.
He (Buchholz) had BETTER be ready to go...
Exactly. Good point. Except for their dopey "Joba (Chamberlain) rules" maybe...
Menino is eager to bring that “World Series Cup” back to Boston.
That was hysterical! Heard it on Howie Carr's show yesterday...
Boston Mayor "Mumbles" Menino actually said: "We're gonna bring that World Serious Cup back to Boston..."
ROTFL
Buchholtz is a dirty irma.
“Menino is eager to bring that World Series Cup back to Boston.”
What’s sad is that whatever putz replaces him will be worse (maybe not oratory-skill wise, but overall).
What’s a dirty Irma??
ROTFL
Where is everybody? Where are all the Cardinal fans?
