The Tigers have several farm teams. I know they have one in the Grand Rapids and if you can make it to play for the Toledo Mud Hens you’ve pretty much made the big time. They’ve got 8 affiliate minor league teams.

My husband and I went on a long trip through the Midwest last summer (2012). We drove from Connecticut to Minnesota, and back again.
We did attend two games at the Toledo Mud Hens - we had a great time at those games at Fifth Third Field in Toledo! My husband has quite a baseball collection... I'm looking at several Toledo Mud Hens baseballs as I type this, lol.
Actually, if I remember correctly, we attended a day game at beautiful Comerica Park in Detroit, then - on that same day - went to a Toledo Mud Hens night game at Fifth Third Field in Toledo. Yeah, we're crazy...
