Laugh all you want. You’re a homer with vested interests. I am not drinking anyone’s kool aid.

Frankly, I don’t really like Oregon, as a program re-invented by Nike money and uniforms etc - but I’ve no vested interest like you do. In fact, as a Gamecock, it would help my case for Bama to be better. Just not sure they are this year. Oregon passes the eye test.

And given what we’ve seen from their D, it would take a colossal break down to allow the other team to score more points than BU’s offense.

They’ll do the same to my struggling Cowboys.

Can we all at least agree that THE Ohio State University’s schedule is a joke, and so is the Big 10 for that matter?

Yeah, must be an accident that they kick the crud out of all of the highly touted teams for the BCS title. Every year for the last eight years. Eight. Years. Straight. Those darned overrated SEC teams and their weak schedules....

Oregon is the best team. Bama’s secondary is no match for the Oregon pass receivers.

And then there is the Oregon speed; and now they have bigger, stronger line play.

I think they are too - and I’m no fan of them by any means. Chip Kelly put in one amazing system, and they still can run it.

Also I think Bama’s run at 1 is over, but will admit that I am certainly not confident of that, and it’s been a helluva run for them. Saban’s performance the past 5 years is astonishing.

I don’t think my Gamecocks can make a run this year, not enough defense. Some poor D coaching I think. Spurrier still gives the best press conference though.....and if he just gives up on this years defense, his offense will open up and be more fun to watch.

Tyler Murphy has changed UF entirely...He is so much better than Driskel. I like what I’ve seen from him so far...He’ll get a big test this weekend, though.

Well I wouldn’t go that far, yet....UK, Tennessee and Arkansas isn’t exactly much of a gauntlet.

The Cocks almost blew it to UK, and UT should have beaten Georgia.

I was thinking at the time that Tennessee scored too soon. They should have milked the clock more.

Don’t look now but Mizzou is unbeaten and in the Top 25. They might have something to say as well.

I think Georgia let them score that last one....I think UT wanted to milk the clock and kick FG - but then the Georgia D just opend up a hole....

But give Georgia credit, damnit. A 57 yard QB draw from Murray when they looked dead? Are you kidding me????

So, nothing would have stopped the Tennessee player from dropping, especially in college where the play ends once the knee touches even if not hit by a defender.

True, but I think it caught them off guard. And I’m not totally sure that’s what happened anyway. The TV announcers never even alluded to the possibility, for wiat that’s worth.

But remember, this Tenn team has not won a big game in a while, and it’s not like they were so confident that they were going to score in the first place.

They needed to see how Denver handled the last part of the game yesterday.

They knew to only try to get the first down, so they could run out the clock, it’s called “situational awareness.”

Now come on - you’re comparing a struggling college team and QB to the most accomplished QB in recent NFL history?

Well they did go to the same school.

That’s more on coaching than on the QB.
