This has been linked before, I see, but not since July, and it is a truly outstanding version of our national anthem! The boys in the band are vets, and it shows. I got chill bumps from the music and images in this video!

Didn’t click, not interested in another torturing of the National Anthem by an aspiring cover band no matter their bonafides as vets or whatever. From Hendrix forward, the need for “musicians” to imprint their stamp on this piece is just uncalled for, IMO. There are few that can do it right (Hendrix was not one, IMO, my baby boomer peers can just suck on it) and everybody else needs to put down their mike and their “axe.”

(It feels like the seventies, and it shouldn't.)

Yeah ... we’re the brave! Always have been, always will be.
I love this version — it’s got sturdiness.

The National Anthem should be played with dignity not as a pop song. The best rendition of the Star Spangled Banner I have heard is one by Felix Vinatieri, band master for Custer's 7th Calvary. A CD featuring Vinatieri's music including the National Anthem in available
here

Thank you for posting that! I had never heard of it before.
I 100% appreciate the effort they put forth into their rendition and their video. The images definitely put tears in my eyes.
God bless them for this...and I'll pass it along to family (mostly the younger members! HA)
