It's a slightly damp 58F here. Heavy dew last night, and I'll take it. I got enough rain to half fill my rain barrel, and I'll take that, too.

I've got a big old feral pig roast on the slow smoker this morning that I'll be eating from for the next few weeks. Mmmmmmm. Pork.

I love pork. There’s just something about it that makes everything taste great. Love that ham, bacon, and sausage too.LOL

Feral hogs are tasty. Our foreman used to catch them. OH my what a day they would have. Relatives from far and near would come for the hog killing, fat rendering, roasting underground, or just butchered and doing what they do. Every one would go home with some. We even got some and took it to
a friend who made the best feral hog sausage. OH YUM.
