Boogity
I completely agree!!!!!!! Do they think they will be attracting that many gays to this sport? Really? And if the gay is interested in Nascar, or motorsports, for that matter, he will be “secure” enough in his gayness to not be offended.
Enough of this sensitivity BS.
lol. I completely agree!
“Do they think they will be attracting that many gays to this sport? Really?”
No...
They are trying to appease the ones in management at all the big networks. NASCAR lives and dies by it’s press coverage, and it is already taking a big hit in the national media for being associated with “Those crazy, gun-toting, bible-thumping hillbilly’s”.
You make a very good point. After the NRA 500 this year, there is no doubt about their trying to appease someone. It is disappointing, because it will be their downfall.
Woo Hoo. Back from highway washout detour commute to Colorado Springs. Three hours each way and still beat Blenderville and Dos Yappy Dogs!
Well it’s not working. Look at the empty seats. They cover most of them with advertising banners.
Just ask JC Penney how well their gay ad campaign worked out for them? They fired the CEO.
Think you will get snow? Looks like at least 2 freeze nights. Need the leaves off of the trees before the 18th so I can haul them away for “free.”
Yap-yip-yipy-yip.
I also just peed on your tires..
I think there will be snow up here Thursday and Friday and possibly on the plains. We have already had slight snow twice in the last week.
Oh, and thanks for the work and ping. Looking good.
That is OK. I put roofing tacks at the end of your driveway a while back. Sorry I did not tell you sooner!
Flipper whacked my points hard last week. Good luck everybody on KC this week, it’s a tough one.
RR
My plan off season is to populate an excel sheet with all of the races and links. when it comes time to put the thread together, i choose that week’s race, and tada! We will see if i can succeed. I have a few prototypes at work that work quite well.
Son thinks I should write a program that opens all of the websites to get info together. Will have to see.
I’m always amazed to see anything about the Kansas Speedway. Used to be part of our family’s small farm years and years ago and I used to drive a wagon pulled by mules while my daddy picked corn by hand and tossed it in the wagon. Great memories.
Going to the Speedway to see a race is on my bucket list.
Speaking of yapping dogs...
Temps should be about 60 and with the always present wind it will be chilly in the stands, both Saturday and Sunday, just like the spring race.
Looking forward to it, we have not missed a KS race yet. I have track passes for driver intro before the race, this will be the first trip to the track for my Son(he doesn't know yet)so he will be excited to see the drivers up close.
