I just took the time to call Blaine Luetkemeyer, my House Rep, to thank him (and his cohorts) for having a spine, and to continue to offer funding options devoid of obamacare. They can stop it by not funding it. Make the perpetual cry baby in the white house not get his way.
A better subject of a call to your Congressman would be to ask about Boehner’s betrayal over the Congressional carve out on Obamacare.
“A series of leaked emails authored by House Speaker John Boehners chief of staff Mike Sommers show that the Speaker may have coordinated with Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid to exempt Congress from Obamacare.”
I know, Boehner’s a worthless peace of excrement. I do believe there are a few that are trying to hold the line despite Mr Excrement. We need to support the ones that are standing up.
YAY!!!
I just heard on Hannity radio that my congress critter was going wobbly and he’s been a reliable conservative in a military dense area. I was shocked to hear it so I too just called him in DC. Phone was answered right away and cutie pie Stephanie answered. She assured me it was not true and Randy-baby will Hold Fast...phew!
Of course, you are right. but I don’t have a Republican Congress person to represent me and feel rather dependent on John Boehner. The last time the Congressional fund raising committee called me, I told them that I wasn’t sending any more money until they get rid of John Boehner because conservatives do not trust Boehner.
Wonder if I should call mine.
alcee hastings was elected by the zombies here in Broward county FL
Yay/s
Might as well call your president while you are at it.
Thanks to the former U.S. Congressman, Rodney Alexander, who, one day after voting to continue funding the NSA, announced his immediate retirement, I don’t have a Louisiana 5th Congressional District U. S. Congressman, until we have a Saturday election, Oct. 19th!!!!!!!!!
Oh, and to make it seem like more of a joke ... a vote is on the ballot for that day, after approval by THE STATE LEGISLATURE, for my town to finally become “wet”, as opposed to “dry”, after so many years!
Pretty crazy, when I have to travel to the next town, across the river, to sit in an Applebee’s, an Olive Garden, etc., just for one glass of wine with dinner!!!
TN senator bob RINO corker is using the shut down not to take your phone calls!
Oh, geeez...will pray for you....
But I don’t think it will hurt....are your taxes ok? ....do you beat your dog?...
are you growing dope in the backyard?
Let him know what you think so if enough of you call and the staffers throw away all the conservatives’ calls, maybe their trash can will overflow...
You never know.....
“my town to finally become wet, as opposed to dry, after so many years!”
Wow you got spared from all of those Hurricanes, thankfully dry laws saved you from the devastation! What will you do now that you will be getting them?
Prayers for you and your town!
Hopefully a smile for you! Sorry for your frustration.

I appreciate your attempt at irony.
The ‘wet vs. dry’, was a reference to the parish I live in, has had laws against the sale of alcohol, since the 1920’s. On the other hand, the brains at the city council, has attempted to woo businesses and large name chain restaurants to the area. However, when the restaurants found out about the alcohol laws, they backed out, and went across the river.
