WILLISTON, Vt. (AP) The ship captain being played by Tom Hanks in a Hollywood movie said on Tuesday before a benefit screening near his home that he never felt empathy for the Somali pirates who hijacked his vessel and took him captive four years ago.
"That never entered my mind," Richard Phillips said in an interview. "We were always adversaries. I thought it was important to make sure we both knew we were adversaries in that. I thought that was important for me and my survival. There was no Stockholm syndrome."

My memory is sort of foggy, but I seem to recall that some of his comments right after the rescue might indicate otherwise. Didn’t he sort of slam GWB for using deadly force? Or is my mind going the way of my body?
Not sure. But it doesn’t sound like he was going to offer any of the pirates a job on his boat to increase their economic opportunity. Hmmm. Doesn’t john f’n heinz kerry have a boat? Maybe he could hire some wanna be terrorists to be deck hands. Actions john boy. Actions.
It happened under Obama. If I remember correctly Obooga sent the FBI to negotiate with the Terrs. Before the Feebs arrived on site the Capt. of the Bainbridge made a command decision and authorized the shooting of the terrs. Needless to say Obooga wasn’t happy about his beloved fellow Muslims getting smoked by the SEALs.
Tom Hanks is a homosexualist.
Yep, the fog is thick today. Bush was long gone when this happened.
LOL
