Republicans’ greatest wish over the past fifty years has been to shut down all non-essential parts of the Federal government, so tomorrow and every subsequent day that Obama and Harry Reid continue to refuse to negotiate so that the shutdown can end should be a day of celebration.
Bring out the champagne and popcorn. The 99.9% of Americans who do not have a vital need to visit the Grand Canyon any time soon should be thrilled.

Morgan had Newt on and thought he was going to really nail him when he said “When we get back we’ll have former Clinton advisor Dick Morris.” Morris came on and explained to Morgan that a government shutdown is no big deal. 70% of government spending is for entitlements. And Newt schooled the Brit, too.

Why? In my estimation, it lowers her stature. I’d like to see her act like Ted Cruz, and cut with the wise cracks. Act dignified, get her message across without resorting to innuendo. She’s starting to carry on more like Ann Coulter than a dignified former Governor and Vice Presidential candidate. No need for her to dirty her feet wet in the muddy swamp to get her message across.
