I have never met or read about anyone experiencing the same thing I did, and I am very honest and sincere about it. The closest I have come to it is what the Catholics call to be Pierced.
The woman at the well received “living water”. The old testament speaks of God causing “springs of living water to arise in our souls”. The Bible speaks of “times of refreshing”. 1 Peter 1:8-9 states:Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.
God thru his son Jesus has promised to “Be with us always, even unto the end of the World!” These times of refreshing that come to Christians are part of that promise as a reminder (and a warning in part) that God is always looking over our shoulder...whether we are comfortable at times with that reality....or especially at times when aren’t!
