Mother! When did you take over Marcella's Account?

Just Kidding. Everything you said is right on! My Mother is from The U.K. and I heard that every time a relation would visit from back home.

One of the things that makes America great is our access to the "Simple Things" can you imagine your life without a 80 inch Plasma TV? Well, Yes as a Matter of fact I can.

But could you imagine it without things like Canned Soup, Toilet Paper and Soap (that doesn't cost your first born)?

They Just opened an Academy Sports here in KC. It is awesome, Cabelas selections without the Legends Tax added to it.

I went to Guam this Summer for....Business, and they have the Worlds Largest K-Mart there.

While it is nothing special to me, its about the size of a Super Walmart, the Japanese FLOCK to it!

They come there to buy the "Simple Things" and ship it back to Japan because it is so much cheaper there (although to me, growing up in the middle of the country it seemed on the expensive side)

But it was cheap for the Japanese.

Guam was nice (and technically part of the USA) I was SO happy to be home, you should have seen the numbers of Forgien Turoist in Guam and Hawii just wanting to get just a taste of American Culture, Taiwanese, Japanese, Koreans, Russians, Australians.

P.S. They have Rows of Spam in their store that literally would go up to the ceiling in my house, and almost just a long. Every Single Kind you can think of they had. The Chamorrans and Japanese LOVE Spam.

Double P.S. the Shooting Industry is Booming in Guam, because the Japanese are strict with Gun Control, they flock to Guam to try it out, Literally Shooting Ranges on Every Block, Hell they even have on at their War Memorial

You have to remember how expensive fresh beef is on those islands, SPAM is probably one of the main meats on some of them.

I wish I had land. Enough to set up a fishing-hunting experience for Koreans and Japanese (and wealthy Chinese), show them things you still have freedom to do in this country.

“...But could you imagine it without things like Canned Soup, Toilet Paper and Soap (that doesn’t cost your first born)?...”

How about imagining it without:

Antibiotics to combat even the most minor infections, that can turn lethally septic...

Basic dentistry and real dentists... an abscessed tooth can kill you...

Simple Band-Aids to cover wounds and keep the germs out...

Isopropyl Alcohol, iodine, hydrogen peroxide, etc, to disinfect...

Sterilized water... every day, all the time...

Indoor plumbing and toilets that flush...

Continuous, dependable electricity...

Refrigeration, to keep food fresh...

How about just being able to live in a decent neighborhood without some feral animal tribe in the next valley yelling allhu akbar and waiting to kill you at the slightest provocation or opportunity...

Sure..There’s some things wrong with the country right now... mostly caused by idiot people who take and take, but have no sense of responsibility or Citizenship, because they’ve been conditioned to behave a certain way by equally degenerate morons with a horrible political agenda.

But at the end of the day, the GOOD that America - and the American PEOPLE - has brought to the world outweighs all of our problems... and we as a People, as a Nation, are the MOST generous and compassionate probably in the history of the world.

We’ve sent OUR fathers, brothers, uncles, cousins, sons (and now our daughters as well) overseas to liberate other people from whatever oppressive “-ism” happens to be the going fad over the course of our existence - socialism/communism/nazism, and now Islamism... and OUR blood has been spilled, often times for people that have ZERO gratitude.

But for those that DO have gratitude for it... well, it’s literally been the difference between life and death for them. And remember the image of all those purple-dyed fingers of people who were PROUD to be able to actually VOTE for the first time in their lives, in Iraq? How many other countries can say they’ve done the same, or made the same positive impact?

Yeah... we’re a little down right now. We’re hurting, and we’re being kicked about by morons who are too stupid to realize that THIS country is the ONLY place where they would even remotely be put up with. Amateurs who have axes to grind against the very country that gave them an opportunity to rise to where they are.

And the fact that we haven’t stomped them into the dust is a testament to OUR compassion, tolerance, and patience as a people, as a nation.

So, to folks like these ex-pat trolls who come out here and try to denigrate, demoralize, and further degrade us - they’re HELPING those who are already here doing the same... They can go to hell.

We’re Americans here. We don’t run away.

And we’ll STILL be here at the end of the day, long after the other “-isms” and their little toadies and sycophants have faded away as just one more failed experiment at controlling the hearts, minds, souls, and destinies of free people.

The ONLY “-ism” that counts or matters to me is Americanism.

My country, right or wrong... but still My Country.

And the ONLY reason Lady Liberty’s light will EVER fail to shine is if WE forget who we are and why we’re here, if we forget what it COST us and our ancestors to get here, and if we forget the Americans who PAID that price to get us here.

Sound corny in this day and age? Maybe it does, to some ears...

But not to mine. I believe it... and I always will.

P.S.
Sorry for the mega-ping folks... this ex-pat troll crap is getting on my nerves... and I needed to vent.
