My best Internet friend is a Scot. But he’s a beer drinker, LOL!

I still like him a lot.

Beer is fine, but whiskey’s divine!!!

Yes, but unfortunately, my favorite beer is Worthington Bitters, available only in England. Sigh...

That one surprised me. I ordered it in a pub, and it was on tap. It made my mouth very happy.
I looked for it when we came home, but couldn’t find it anywhere here.

I like Guinness as well, but both beers are too carby, so I drink the vile and tasteless Michelob
Ultra. It’s thirst quenching, doesn’t get me drunk, is lower carb, and it is sorta okay, in a way.

[teeters hand - so so]

Haha!! the way you describe it sounds SOOO unappealing!!!

I like Guinness, also Foster’s; also recently discovered Sapporo, a nice Japanese beer (been around since 1876). Stella Artois is good, and the Belgian Hoegaarden is also not bad.

Yuengling Black and Tan is tasty too.

I’m not real fussy with brewski. Cold, crisp, and something that fights back a little is always nice

Especially when you drop a shot glass of whiskey in and pound that down!!!

Ahh.. life is good... and short. So drink up!

:^)

Boilermakers are a step too far for me.

And the Ultra really isn’t that bad if you’re hiking on a hot day, and you have it on ice, you can suck down a bottle in seconds, quench your thirst, cool off, and keep on walking.

I like homemade Black & Tans. Guinness and Watney’s 50-50. Yum!

There is a little English restaurant on Santa Monica Blvd. near the beach, The King’s Head Inn, and they have the best fission chips and Black & Tans I’ve ever had.

Perfectly breaded cod filets, perfectly cooked, heaven! I never had better, not even on Brighton Pier Boardwalk in England.

Are you married? It’s starting to seem as if we two couples should get together. Can you make it to the Texas Cowboy Memorial Shoot in 2014?

You can fire my PS-90. [tempt, tempt, tempt]

“...Boilermakers are a step too far for me...”

Haha!! You are “Old School Cool”!!! Not too many folks even KNOW what a good old fashioned Boilermaker is today.

“..Are you married? It’s starting to seem as if we two couples should get together...”

Yes ma’am. Proudly so, for 26 years. She’s a good girl, and a Gun Girl to boot. Same with my kids, 21 and 18. They shoot Expert with handgun and rifle (they better - I’m a certified instructor).

“...Can you make it to the Texas Cowboy Memorial Shoot in 2014?...”

I’m from PA, and I love my state, but if I ever get out to Texas, I ain’t leavin’ once I get there!! It won’t be to visit, it’ll be to live. Never been there, but I love the ATTITUDE of your State - all Southern states, for that matter.

“..You can fire my PS-90...”
That’s a sweet little room broom, especially in full auto config. FN makes some seriously nice hardware.

If I do get out there, I’ll bring some of my WWII boom toys... we’ll make a LOT of noise!!! Haha!

Appreciate the offer!

Um... I live in Ohio. We drive to the shoot each year. NOT taking our ordnance on a plane.

It was looking a little iffy for next year, but I think we’re going to make it.

Congratulations on 26 years of happy marriage. We’ll be married for 34 years in November. We have no children.

I don’t have the full-auto conversion kit to make a P-90 out of the PS-90, sorry!

We usually bring everything, Mosey, ‘90, FiveseveN, Benelli 12 Ga, Henry Mare’s Leg, a gaggle of Kimbers, etc., etc.

And I thought everybody knew what a boilermaker was...??

RE Ohio:

I did not know that - I assumed you were from Texas!

Ohio is right next door!

RE Boilermakers: Not these “Young Pups” today... they have all these fancy fruity drinks out there. Kid stuff.

Pennsylvania is right next door to us, too!

We’re in Columbiana County, which borders on PA.

Just click on my profile. Ignore the “banned or suspended,” and note my Ohio flag.
