I usually don't put mine in a bag of any kind. You also have to check the potatoes for signs of them going bad and get rid of any that are starting to rot.

I always plant tomatoes deep. That is the only plant I do that with. The stalk will grow roots if you plant it.

Epsom salts prevents blossom end rot, which I had some of in my spring tomatoes. I added epsom salts to the fall tomatoes.

So, I need more than two potatoes if some are going to rot, which I said potatoes will do when we started talking about potatoes. I’ll get more and I won’t put the ones I got in a paper bag, just put them in the pantry “au natural”.
