I wouldn't do that. Those seed pods are poisonous and have to be handled just so. Professionals say if one shows up on your potato plant, throw it away and don't let children or pets close to those pods.

I saw on Utube a guy deal with those, and it could have been that Tom fellow and I wouldn't do it. Your mileage may vary.

I have wee little green tomatoes on my fall tomato plants. All is right with the world.

People grow lots of toxic things. You're fine as long as you know what you are doing. I know not to eat daturas.
