Baboons are really mean.
They have them in the country parks in Hong Kong thanks to a British nitwit who imported them there in the 19th century.

You can always expect them to do the worst thing. They will attack you and they are very strong

My Dad was in Asia during World War II and he said a lot of baboons were shot by GI’s and British and Australian troops.

I stumbled on an distressing YouTube video about Baboons kidnapping puppies from feral dogs—raising them in their lair, grooming them—and when mature—the grown dogs would guard their kidnappers' lairs.
