The mother of a baby whose body was found buried in their Hallandale Beach backyard in January was cleared for release from a Broward jail Monday, days away from the imminent birth of her fourth child.
Brittney Sierra, 22, who is nine months pregnant, had her $100,000 bail eliminated after prosecutors announced they were downgrading charges against her stemming from the July 2011 disappearance of her 5-month-old son, Dontrell Melvin, whose buried remains were discovered in the backyard of the home where he lived with his parents.
