I saw Vanishing Point at the Prairie Lake Drive In, Altamonte Springs, FL. Smoked a lot of cigarettes (too many) and did a lot of making out (not enough) there in the late 60s.

RIP Mr Sarafian. Took a date to see Vanishing Point back in high school days. We were at a drive-in theater and everyone who left that night just had to peel-out when we left. At the time I thought it was a great film. Saw it again recently and the biggest star of the movie was the Dodge Challenger and the uh, hippie chick out in the desert ;o)

"If Krishna gave the Tiger claws it also gave the Dove wings"

"The balsam tree perfumes the axe that chops it down."

Paraphrasing Super Soul.

That was the best movie.

Godspeed, Richard Sarafian

I’ve seen that movie at least 50 times over the years, and I’ll watch again, I’m sure. Every time I see it, I slip right back the to first time I watched.

RIP Richard Sarafian.

Drive on, Kowalski. We’re still out here.

RIP, Mr. Serafian. Even though you didn’t like my remake of your movie...

I watched the movie again the other day. Mr. Sarafian did a lot with the $5.00 funding he was able to raise. Couldn’t help but be freaked out by the clothes and Newman’s haircut—or lack of haircut. RIP, Mr. Sarafian.

That’s a good flick. Saw it years ago on late night TV — back in the day when movies all night were a novelty.
