Church sermons to explore sex and gay love

Churches in Dresden are to deliver sermons on love and sex. Among the themes to be explored is the “tender love” between men in the Bible and “everyday eroticism”.

Gisela Merkel-Manzur is organizing the program of eight sermons over the next two months at two Protestant churches in Löbtau parish. She believes one of the reasons sexuality has been insufficiently addressed by the church is because of internal disputes about homosexuality.

Baloney! The only "religious scholars" who've given any thought to this lunacy are homosexuals, who, frankly, cannot ever imagine any kind of relationship between same sexes without sex!

That homosexuals are obsessed with sex and abnormal sexual practices at that, keeps them from being able to understand the nature of true friendship.

The word translated “tender love” in the Old Testament is the Hebrew word racham, which means “compassion” among other meanings; no sexual implications at all.

The Bible is filled with stories of wrong doing. Only a perverse mind would turn that into an endorsement. So why not a sermon about Lot and his daughters? Why speculate about David and Jonathan when more titillating examples are available to entertain perverse minds?

Definitely that confusion between love and sex again. They see the phrase “disciple whom Jesus loved” and they assume the physicality again, even though the word translated “loved” is ephilei, which means to be one’s close friend. They’re so hot and bothered with that translation that there is even a whole Sickipedia article on it alone.
