Wednesday, Sept. 18, marks National Cheeseburger Day, and many national chains and local burger joints are celebrating by giving away free burgers.
Since its origin in the early 1920s, the cheeseburger is one of Americas most beloved foods and certainly worthy of its own national (but unofficial) day.

I occasionally ate at Tommy’s when I was attending Cal Poly Pomona. I still have no idea what they were like, as I was never sober when I ate there. :)
It was also during that period that I developed my love for In-N-Out Burger.

It would have been better to have heard of this YESTERDAY.
There is a greasy spoon here in St. Louis that makes a mean pizza burger, with mozzarella cheese. It is to die for!
