When I was struggling to come to terms with the death of my wife, I went to her church to light a candle for her. As I stood before the Lord on the Cross, I don’t know why but I said out loud, “I don’t know what to do....” I heard a voice in my head say, “You know what to do!” I began taking classes, and the following Easter I received my First Communion at 60 years of age. Finally, I am beginning to find peace. Vivat Jesus
Like a scream but sort of silent
Living out my nightmares
Voices repeating me
“Feeling threatened?
We reflect your hopes and fears”
Voices discussing me
“Others steal your thoughts
They’re not confined within your mind...”
No wait, that comes from audio clips from talk radio.
When the water’s on in my kitchen sink and I’m in the next room, it sounds just like people talking. It’s really creepy. I can never make out what they’re saying, so I guess I’m ok.
How would sessions with Hasan help?
What's that?
The voices in my head always speak out after seeing someone do something extremely stupid. They say “and then they voted” to remind me of why America is where it’s at today. The illiterate are allowed to vote.
So, I guess under ObamaCare, if you tell your doctor that you have guns in your house, that’s bad - but if you tell him that you hear voices in your head, then it’s OK?
When the voices in my head say to press one for English I’ll know I’ve had enough of the voices in my head.
Well I’m OK and so amd I. :-)
I used to think I heard voices in my head until I realized it was just my dog talking to me.
Exactly. They’re probably, in many cases, not very competent to begin with.
But my voices told me all about yours a long time ago.
There are already laws preventing those who are mentally ill from having guns; federal law regarding prohibited persons implicitly requires a court hearing, as it should be. The individual would have to have been involuntarily committed (requires a court hearing) or adjuticated mentally defective (court hearing also), preserving their right to due process and protecting their God given rights.
Four out of five voices in my head told me not to click on this post; of course I’ve never been one to run with the pack.
