The plate probably was from ‘57. I agree. It does not appear to be a ‘57.

It seems like either a ‘51 or a ‘52.

It has split windshield,so it is not a ‘53, which had a one piece windshield.

I am very curious about the damage on the Camaro.

The front is not damaged, but the rear is horribly mangled. Impact with the water did not do that.
