Lee Harvey Oswald was a Marine. There are millions of men and women who served in the military. Not all of them are good people. Most are though.
Wasn’t there some serial killer who was a military reservist helicopter pilot? I forgot his name. It’s not the Green River Killer, but if I remember right, it was up in the NW.
Not everyone who’s served is a saint, like you said.

I mean, it just sounded like the “truth stranger than fiction” type of deal, not a reflection on our nation’s military at all.
Also, relative of mine, was indeed a Petty Officer in the Navy as well.

I think also as someone said, we might be looking at someone with “Caribbean Roots”, Jamaica, Barbados, think the guy who shot up “Freddy’s Fashion Mart”(?) was a Jamaican or Caribbean type.
