Hopefully his comeback goes better than for one Carlos Danger aka Weiner.
I gotta do it. Here’s the remix of Vince Offer’s famous infomercial: The Slap Chop

Unlike a politician (name your choice), this guy is not taking money (taxes) out of my pocket for his bad behavior. I sincerely hope he makes it even though his previous commercials have set my teeth on edge.
I did love that 1 year series from Discovery Channel - “The Pitchmen” with hosts Billy Mays and Anthony Sullivan. You got a real insight into the sheer effort it took to bring one of those infomercials to success. Yet, maybe Billy let it get to him, twas a shame if so.

I knew Vince before he was infamous. I almost went to work for him in one of his swap meet set ups, but chopping veggies for a buck wasn’t my thing.
I remember when Billy Mays died — a few days (before?) Michael Jackson. We watched “PitchMen” regularly on TV and really liked it. There was SO much hoop-la surrounding Michael Jackson’s death that Billy Mays’s passing went almost unnoticed by the media — my kids didn’t know much about Michael Jackson but they sure knew who Billy Mays was - and were terribly saddened.
Vince is on a different level than Sully or Mays - I assumed he came out of the state fair or carnival circuit — all the way to the bank.
What’s that old saying about a sucker being born every minute? I always think of that whenever I see Vince.
With a first name like Offer, is it any wonder he ended up a pitch man?
