They don’t recognize anything. I thought about the power supply but I’ve had them both in for about 5 months. No problems till now.

I don't know how this will help, but as a data point: Go to Control Panel --> Device Manager and see if the devices show up there.

I've recently had a similar problem with an HD I've installed. The system sees it and doesn't see it simultaneously. I haven't solved it yet, but I haven't put a lot of effort into it.

I’m no expert, but maybe also do a registry clean out. Also, repeat your uninstall of software and drivers, reinstall, and reboot a few times. Make absolutely sure you are using the best discs possible for your blueray (sounds like you are). Of course, also do some online investigating/troubleshooting (which I’m sure you are also doing). Also, make sure your fan is working and that your board is not overheating.
