That’s is exactly what I did. Cancelled all cable but the internet.

I only recently got interested in making the switch after reading a thread about it on FR. My wife and I got to exploring that option and within a week, she'd switched us over.

I'm missing a few of my favorite shows, but I'll do without them, given the $60 a month we're saving. And, there aren't ANY commercials!

I got Magicjack 3 years ago and it works great. $19.95 a YEAR for phone serve with unlimited minutes and no long distance charges in US.

I also cancelled my cell phone when contract ended and got a TracPhone with 1200 minutes and a year to use them for less than $100.

Cut out a lot of waste of $$$$
