Practice makes perfect.....post on....
well that explains it entirely! a friend from HS was doing some type of dope freshman year, he was in engineering at Pitt, and he ended up in western psych with some sort of breakdown. Another guy friend was pre-dent and he went nutty also, some sort of breakdown, and came back and ended up doing nursing. i was very leery of psychology and philosophy classes, being a pragmatist i can’t stand that kind of thing. I hate theory, i much prefer practice. was that way in law school also, you had the types who wanted to discuss policy considerations, ivory tower BS, i had no patience for it.
agree completely. my eyes would have rolled entirely out of my head in a philosophy class.
Well, psychologists are certainly all crazy, but you do sometimes need to examine the whys of life.
I tape the games for fim study afterward, and offseason boredom,
Now, on to the Fountainhead.
Happy Anniversary!
Pitt Coquettes, I hear.
Oy. Effing. vey.
why examine why. it is what it is.
Cause if you know why it is, maybe it won’t be.
Is, is an artificial Construct, subject to perception.
As the great Philosopher once said, “ it all depends on what the meaning of Is is.”
There is what is and what should never be,...
All bull$h!t
And also the thing that should not be.
Thank you! We’re watching football to celebrate. My MIL called to apologize for not sending a card. I said we don’t expect anyone else to do cards, just each other, that they were there for the beginning was nice enough. She was the one who went shopping with me for a gown and helped me pick one out.
Cool!
Slipped that one past you eh?
A much more preferable selection.
The former always irritated me.
