I was wondering the same thing. If it was a pictogram, it looks like a closed mouth, so I would guess you pronounce it as ‘mmmmmmm’ as in Homer Simpson saying ‘mmmmm bacon’

It's pronounced like the 'th' in thorazine.
However, I do not know why it is included in the pronunciation guide for an English word

θ I think it's pronounced dasho. So it's really dashobacon, which I thought was just shy of being enough for a sammich.

How do you pronounce... θ I believe that's the Greek letter, 'theta' (thae-ta).
I have no idea what phonetic sound it stands for.
