PS on the peppers, I forgot I also grow jalapenos but the only thing I do with those is make poppers. Have made 4 batches so far this summer (4 cookie sheets full), probably will do one or 2 more before the plants die off.
I copied what you wrote about peppers. I have done that with all who wrote about peppers. I started reading/looking at peppers after I wrote that yesterday and there are so many it’s confusing.
What you all wrote let’s me know what works for you so I can use those as a guide. Sweet Banana peppers sounds like a good one.
My husband cuts jalapenos in half lengthwise, and then stuffs each half with a mixture of sweet sausage and diced fresh pineapple. He then bakes them in the oven until done. They make a delicious appetizer. The heat from the jalapenos along with the sweetness of the sausage and pineapple is perfect.
